Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is most well-known for her leading roles in many television series however, she also has impressive roles in films. Her work is a hit on Canadian as well as American television. Emily became interested in the acting profession when she was just 12. When she was 12, Emily visited her elder sister Katie in the film studio. Once she discovered her passion in the world of acting, Emily enrolled in acting classes and began auditioning. Her first audition was for a small amount of advertisements and then was cast in Are You Afraid Of The Dark, a Canadian horror film for children. She was only seen in one scene, without any dialogue. At the age of 15, Emily got her biggest breakthrough after she was made an official character on the WB television show Glory Days. Emily's acting talent caught Greg Berlanti's attention when the show was canceled after only nine episodes. He subsequently cast Emily for Everwood, his new TV show. Emily was an accomplished ballet dancer and also took up photography. Teen listed her as the top young actress. Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 ranked Emily at 51.
