Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941 the son of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. At the age of 13 Richard and his family relocated out of Nebraska and moved to Casper which was where his dad worked as the director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture local soil conservancy district.
