Felicity Jones is an British actress who is most well-known because of her role as Jane Hawking in the critically popular film The Theory of Everything. Jones began acting at the age of 12 and appeared in many plays, TV shows as well as films. She began her acting career in the television film The Treasure Seekers. She then played the role on Ethel Hallow another television show called The Worst Witch and its sequel Weirdsister College. The film that she first appeared in, Flashbacks of a Fool which starred her as Young Ruth. Since then she's appeared in numerous movies. Her popularity grew due to her role in films including The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. But it was her portrayal for her role in The Theory of Everything that brought her an Oscar for the very first time. Jones played Stephen Hawking's wife in the biopic, which was based on the life of Stephen Hawking, was widely acclaimed by both critics and the public. Inferno was the Tom Hanks thriller was her next part. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles presented Jones as the British Artist of the Year in 2016 for her exceptional performance and contribution to film.
